Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data PayPe Technologies Pvt. Ltd. collects, why we collect it, and what rights you have. It applies to paype.co.in, bankme.co.in, api.paype.co.in and our ERP, HRMS and AI Builder products.

What we collect

Information you give us

• Account details — business name, contact name, email address, mobile number, business address
• Verification documents — where required for merchant onboarding, such as registration certificates, GSTIN, PAN and bank account details
• Support correspondence — messages you send us

Information created by using the service

• Transaction records — order references, amounts, status, timestamps and bank reference numbers such as UTR or ARN
• Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, and sign-in times. We use these to secure your account and to alert you to unfamiliar sign-ins.
• Business data you enter — records you create in ERP, HRMS or AI Builder

Why we use it

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your business data to train AI models.

Who we share it with

• Our payment gateway partner — transaction and merchant details necessary to process and settle payments
• Infrastructure providers — hosting, database and email delivery services acting on our instructions
• Statutory authorities — where we are legally obliged to disclose
• Professional advisers — auditors and legal counsel, under confidentiality

Where your data is stored

Merchant and transaction data is stored on infrastructure located in India. Some support tools may process limited data outside India; where that happens we require appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

Transaction and financial records are retained for the period required by Indian tax and company law, currently eight years. Account records are kept while your account is active and for the retention period afterwards. Sign-in and technical logs are kept for a shorter period, typically twelve months.

How we protect it

• Encryption in transit over HTTPS across all services
• API secrets and one-time codes stored only as one-way hashes, never in readable form
• Access to production data restricted to authorised personnel
• Sign-in alerts so you can spot access you did not authorise

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:

• Confirm what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy
• Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Erase data we no longer have a lawful reason to keep
• Withdraw a consent you previously gave

Write to admin@paype.co.in and we will respond within 30 days. Note that we cannot erase records we are legally required to retain, such as completed transaction records.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that are necessary for the service to work — principally to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies. Blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in from functioning.

Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified by email or in your dashboard. The date at the top shows when it last changed.

Grievance officer

In accordance with applicable Indian law, complaints may be addressed to our grievance officer, who will acknowledge within 48 hours and aim to resolve within 30 days.
